Sleep deprived...

Lately, I have trouble sleeping... Huh, maybe its due to the heat. Coz every nite seems to be hotter... if its the other "hot", I might not care... but the heat is making me uncomfortable to sleep soundly as I keep waking up and tossing myself around. Urgh, so much with the heat, but so lazy to take a shower in the middle of the night. I got a habit of sleeping with a blanket no matter how hot it is just to make sure that I feel secure I guess. I can even be fine with me even if the blanket just cover my crotch, as long as i have my blanket on... Weird huh? But that has been my habit since I can't remember... And I am not the person who can easily fall asleep... Thus, it did sometimes troubles me as I will be grumpy if I can't get enough eye-shut blissed moments...

And another thing is I can't sleep because my brain keeps working, making me think of (mostly unnecessary) things in life or anything... hahaha... Thus adding up to my sleep-deprived problems...

Okeh, I hope I can sleep tonight soundlessly...

For those who sleep in the air-conditioned room ........... A friend of mine has passed away recently, Please read the mail below and be careful.

Heard of a bad news regarding Charleine, who studied in MSMKL with some of us. She passed away last weekend due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

It happened when she lighted an aromatheraputic candle for the night in a room with air-conditioning on and all windows closed.

Due to lack of oxygen in the room, the burning of the candle cannot fully oxidized & thus forming dangerous carbon monoxide.

Carbon monoxide will prevent oxygen exchange in the lungs, resulting the person dozing off to state of unconsciousness & eventually death in less than 1 hour, depending on the room size.

Greatreminder to all….

This is a powerful message in our modern society. We seemed to have

lost our bearings & our sense of direction.

One, young, academically excellent person went to apply for a

managerial position in a big company.

He passed the first interview. The director who did the last interview,

made the last decision.

The director discovered from the CV that the youth's academic

achievements were excellent all the way, from the secondary school

until the postgraduate research. He never had a year when he did not score.

The director asked, "Did you obtain any scholarships in school?"

The youth answered "none".

The director asked, " Was it your father who paid for your school fees?"

The youth answered, "My father passed away when I was one year old.

It was my mother who paid for my school fees."

The director asked, " Where did your mother work?"

The youth answered, "My mother worked as a clothes cleaner.

The director requested the youth to show his hands.

The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.

The director asked, " Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?"

The youth answered, "Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Furthermore, my mother can wash clothes faster than me."

The director said, "I have a request. When you go back today,

go and clean your mother's hands and then see me tomorrow morning."

The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high.

When he went back, he happily requested his mother to let him clean her hands.

His mother felt strange, but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to her son.

The youth cleaned his mother's hands slowly. His tears fell as he did that.

It was the first time he noticed that his mother's hands were so wrinkled

and that there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so

painful that his mother shivered when they were cleaned with water.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands

that washed the clothes every day to enable him to pay the school fee.

The bruises in the mother's hands were the price that the mother had

to pay for his graduation, academic excellence and his future.

After finishing the cleaning of his mother hands, the youth quietly

washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.

That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.

Next morning, the youth went to the director's office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youth's eyes and asked,

"Can you tell me what you did and learned yesterday in your house?"

The youth answered, " I cleaned my mother's hands, and also finished

cleaning all the remaining clothes.'

The Director asked, "Please tell me your feelings."

The youth said, Number 1, I know now the meaning of appreciation.

Without my mother, there would not be the successful me today.

Number 2, by working together and helping my mother, only now

I realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done.

Number 3, I have come to appreciate the importance and value of family relationship.

The director said, "This is what I am looking for in my new manager.
I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others,

a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done,

and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life. Son,you are hired."

Later on, this young person worked very hard, and received the

respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently

and as a team. The company's performance improved tremendously.

A child, who has been over protected and habitually given whatever

he or she wanted, would develop the entitlement mentality and would

always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent's efforts.

When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him,

and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings

of his employees and would always blame others. This kind of person,

may be good academically and may be successful for a while,

but eventually would not feel a sense of achievement.

He will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more.
If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing

love or are we destroying the kid instead?*

You can let your kid live in a big house, eat good meals, learn piano,

watch a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let him

experience it. After a meal, let him wash his plates and bowls together

with his brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money

to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love him in the right way.

You want him to understand, no matter how rich his parents are,

one day their hair will grow gray, same as the mother of that young man .

The most important thing is your kid learns how to appreciate the effort

and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.

You would have forwarded many mails to many and many of them would

have back mailed you too...but try and forward this story to as many as possible...

this may change somebody's fate...

2011 in Review Part 2 : Relationships

Family
In terms of my relationship with family, I can say that it was all good, but since I'm the only one who are stuck in KL, while others are at our Home Sweet Home in Ipoh, I can't see them every day. But its ok as I can still call them, and texting my family. Still macam biasa, at least once a month aku akan balik Ipoh, especially after payday, sebab time tu la ade duit nak spend kat Ipoh with family kan... Hubungan dengan family pun ok je, takde gaduh-gaduh ke ape ke, still jadi anak manja lagi dengan parents (walaupun aku anak sulung! Ngahahaha! Aku la yang paling manja and gedik!)... But still being considered as reliable, sebab anything yang kene slowtalk dengan adik-adik, aku la orangnye... Tapi takpe, sebab AKU SAYANG KELUARGA AKU...

FRIENDS

Tahun 2011 jugak membanyakkan dan men'diversify'kn (matila create perkataan sendiri!) kawan-kawan aku, baik di office mahupun di luar office... Up-to-date, aku ade 1682 friends kt facebook, 31 followers kt twitter (@IzzyWafi), and merata-rata lagi... Yang kat facebook tu mungkin la korang lagi banyak, sebab I've learned that some of them are freakingly stalking on me and my life, and keep bugging me and my friends and family. Then most of them adelah orang yang aku tak pernah tegur pun... So I choose to remove them, jadi kalau aku remove tu, faham-faham la ye. Korang bleh try add balik, mane la tau aku ter-remove secara rawak, then Insyaallah aku approve balik k!

Tapi ade jugak yang aku rasa jadi musuh in the end, and ade a few yang aku rasa menjadi 'Gunting dalam Lipatan', dan 'Bagaikan melepaskan anjing tersepit'... Ape maksudnye? Ade a few of my friends yang aku dah tolong sket-sket, then in the end buat taik and senyap je... Aku ni memang pendendam orangnye, but aku prefer untuk tak fikir ape-ape pasal anything yang menyakitkan hati dari aku nak sakit jiwa fikir hidup diorang yang tak best... And rasenye ramai jugak yang yang sakit hati dengan perangai aku... Sebab aku pun bukan la malaikat kan... Tapi ape-ape, aku mintak maaf la ye...

LOVE

Tuuutt.... Nak kene citer jugak ke? Aiseh... Malu la I... Kih3... Ye la, macam orang lain, aku pun bercinta jugak... Tapi takde yang tahan lama untuk tahun 2011 ni... Tahun ni je aku kapel dan berskandal dengan galaknye (Playboy sangat!)... Tapi entah la... Aku belum betul-betul jumpa yang betul-betul sesuai... Sampai la aku bertemu dengan "sayang". Aku banyak kali bercinta, putus, main kayu tiga, etc... Most probably sebab aku tak pandai kata "No". Dan maybe sebab aku secara semulajadinye merasa yang ianya suatu achievements...

Sampai la aku berkapel dgn "sayang", yang aku dah kenal lama jugak la dalam FB, tapi setakat tegur-tegur camtu je r, sebab aku anggap dia kawan mula-mula, sampai la kitorang jumpe for the first time end October, and it was the start of our lovey-dovey relationship... harap-harap dapat kekal lama r... Ade sebab kenapa aku harap dan aku akan jaga hubungan ni supaya kekal lama... Antaranya adalah dia adalah orang yang betul-betul dapat terima aku dan kisah silam aku yang aku teruk. Dan dia adalah orang yang sangat sayangkan aku, lebih dari macam mana aku sayangkan diri sendiri. Dia jugak adelah orang yang sangat la menjaga hidup aku, membuatkan aku rasa sangat selesa dengan dia... Nak cerita lebih-lebih pasal dia, aku rasa tak perlu la kot... cukup la aku tulis yang aku cintakan dia... dan aku sedang belajar untuk setia... Aku harap dia dapat guide aku and 'jinakkan' aku. Aku tak boleh nak tipu dia pun, so its a good thing for me so maintain this relationship.

Aku harap dia pn akan sentiasa bagitau aku ape yang dia rasa, dan ape yang dia fikir supaya aku tau dan aku dapat respon. Communication between partners is important, sebab lack of communication jugak la reason aku selalu tak dapat bertahan lama dalam hubungan. Dan Aku harap dia jangan terlalu risaukan aku sangat, sebab bile dia sedih or menangis, aku akan jadi tak keruan, tapi dengan dia jugak la aku first time pujuk kekasih yang merajuk, dan first time rasa sebak bile dengar lagu sedih yang ade kaitan dengan hubungan, hati dan perasaan aku...

2011 in Review : Part 1 (Work and Office)

So far work has been normal in 2011. There’s not much difference except that I have been assigned to another product. So far, all has been well and a bit relaxing compared to other product desk as most of my friends are being stressed out by their work, which are far worse than mine (Kesian korang). Tapi ade jugak la kes2 yang menyebabkan aku kene stay back kat Opis, ade skali tu time Bola Malaysia VS Indonesia utk Sukan Sea (Tahniah Harimau Malaya~)… In the end aku balik je, setelkan dalam perjalanan balik ke rumah. Setel je, nak jugak aku terpacak kat office tu tanpa hasil… Hahaha…

Ade yang tak leh blah sebab aku sampai kene berenti kat hentian rehat kat highway sebab nak setelkan keje… Sejam jugak la aku stuck kat Hentian Tanjung Malim tu, tapi tak ape, asalkan sumenye setel dan aku bleh balik kampong dengan tenang… Merasa la aku lenjan Boboi aku dari Tanjung Malim ke Ipoh yang bese 2 jam, aku lenjan bagi jadi sejam. Dah sampai kat gate rumah baru la baca SMS mak pesan jangan bawak laju2… Ampun mak… Anak mak ni memang suke drive kete laju2…

Ade sampai tahap aku kene bangun tido semata-mata nak taip email je... Sabar je la...

Kalo pasal PPA, tahun ni aku baru start buat. So result dia tak tau lagi, but harap2 ok la, dapat 3 pun aku dah bersyukur… Amin… Sebab Financial Year tahun ni pendek, so tak rumit la proses PPA tu, xde nak interview bagai… Hahaha…

Kalo bab-bab office politics and gossip ni, of course la aku kene join… Sebab aku memang seorang pekerja yang mengambil berat tentang gossip2 di persekitaran… Aku tak tau la, tapi telinga aku ni memang terer bab-bab eavesdropping, and menangkap bunyi-bunyi dosa… Hahahaha… Sebab tu jugak la aku rasa bersyukur sbb deria pendengaran aku ni masih cemerlang… Alhamdulillah… But so far mulut jahat aku ni just untuk gurauan je la… but kadang-kadang ade jugak la menyinggung(Kalo ikutkan memang aku nak hentak je) perasaan certain-certain orang kat office yang memang aku (and a few others) berbulu sket kalo dengar nama, uish, memang aku dah belajar maafkan dia, tapi sekejap je aku Berjaya, pastu berantu balik!

Ape lagi ye pasal kerja, sebab aku rasa so far macam tu je la, aku pun macam orang lain jugak, keje bese2 je… takde la gempak mana… hahaha… Harap-harap 2012 ni kerja aku makin best and increment banyak… Amin…

To forgive may be divine, but no one ever said it was easy. When someone has deeply hurt you, it can be extremely difficult to let go of your grudge. But forgiveness is possible -- and it can be surprisingly beneficial to your physical and mental health.

"People who forgive show less depression, anger and stress and more hopefulness," says Frederic Luskin, Ph.D., author of Forgive for Good (HarperCollins, 2002). "So it can help save on the wear and tear on our organs, reduce the wearing out of the immune system and allow people to feel more vital."

So how do you start the healing? Try following these steps:

Calm yourself. To defuse your anger, try a simple stress-management technique. "Take a couple of breaths and think of something that gives you pleasure: a beautiful scene in nature, someone you love," Luskin says.

Don't wait for an apology. "Many times the person who hurt you has no intention of apologizing," Luskin says. "They may have wanted to hurt you or they just don't see things the same way. So if you wait for people to apologize, you could be waiting an awfully long time." Keep in mind that forgiveness does not necessarily mean reconciliation with the person who upset you or condoning of his or her action.

Take the control away from your offender. Mentally replaying your hurt gives power to the person who caused you pain. "Instead of focusing on your wounded feelings, learn to look for the love, beauty and kindness around you," Luskin says.

Try to see things from the other person's perspective. If you empathize with that person, you may realize that he or she was acting out of ignorance, fear -- even love. To gain perspective, you may want to write a letter to yourself from your offender's point of view.

Recognize the benefits of forgiveness. Research has shown that people who forgive report more energy, better appetite and better sleep patterns.

Don't forget to forgive yourself. "For some people, forgiving themselves is the biggest challenge," Luskin says. "But it can rob you of your self-confidence if you don''t do it."

I know people who work 12 hours a day, six days a week, or more. Some people do so because of a work emergency where the long hours are only temporary. Other people I know have put in these hours for years. I do not know if they are working all these hours, but I do know they are in the office this long. Others put in long office hours because they are addicted to the workplace.

Whatever the reason for putting in overtime, working long hours over the long term is harmful to the person and to the organization. There are things managers can do to change this for everyone's benefit. Being in the office long hours, over long periods of time, makes way for potential errors.

My colleagues who are in the office long hours frequently make mistakes caused by fatigue. Correcting these mistakes requires their time as well as the time and energy of others. I have seen people work Tuesday through Friday to correct mistakes made after 5 PM on Monday.
Another problem is that people who are in the office long hours are not pleasant company. They often complain about other people (who are not working as hard); they are irritable, or cranky, or even angry. Other people avoid them. Such behaviour poses problems, where work goes much better when people work together instead of avoiding one another.

As Managers, there are things we can do to help people leave the office. First and foremost is to set the example and go home ourselves. I work with a manager who chides people for working long hours. His words quickly lose their meaning when he sends these chiding group e-mails with a time-stamp of 2 AM, Sunday.

Second is to encourage people to put some balance in their lives. For instance, here is a guideline I find helpful:

1. Wake up, eat a good breakfast, and go to work.
2. Work hard and smart for eight or nine hours.
3. Go home.
4. Read the books/comics, watch a funny movie, dig in the dirt, play with your kids, etc.
5. Eat well and sleep well.

This is called recreating. Doing steps 1, 3, 4, and 5 enable step 2. Working regular hours and recreating daily are simple concepts. They are hard for some of us because that requires 'personal change'. They are possible since we all have the power to choose to do them.

In considering the issue of overtime, I am reminded of my oldest son. When he was a toddler, if people were visiting the apartment, he would not fall asleep no matter how long the visit was, and no matter what time of day it was. He would fight off sleep until the visitors left. It was as if he was afraid that he would miss some thing. Once our visitors' left, he would go to sleep. By this time, however, he was over tired and would scream through half the night with nightmares. He, my wife, and I, all paid the price for his fear of missing out.

Perhaps some people put in such long hours because they do not want to miss anything when they leave the office. The trouble with this is that events will never stop happening. That is life! Things happen 24 hours a day. Allowing for little rest is not ultimately practical. So, take a nap. Things will happen while you are asleep, but you will have the energy to catch up when you wake.

For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives.

People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality. I learnt never to underestimate someone's capacity for growth. Some changes were phenomenal. Each experienced a variety of emotions, as expected, denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance. Every single patient found their peace before they departed though, every one of them.

When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:

1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.

2. I wish I didn't work so hard.

This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children's youth and their partner's companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.

Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.

It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called 'comfort' of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.

When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.

Life is a choice. It is YOUR life. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.

Omai... Pagi tadi aku g derma darah kat TTFC, aku pergi sebenarnye sebab nak dapat free gift (Mr. Bean pny teddy bear) and FREE Body Fat Percentage screening. Hihihi.... Sekali dah dapat BFP result, amekaw, 19.6%. Border normal is 20%. Aku terus "Oh Shit!!", lemak aku dah nak sampai border!!

So aku google on how to reduce body fat percentage & resultnye aku post kat bawah ni...

Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Muslimin & Muslimat yang dirahmati Allah,

Dalam hidup seharian, kita takkan lari dari terlibat dari aktiviti mulut ini..Mengumpat bukan sahaja sinonim dikalangan perempuan.. dikalangan lelaki pun apa kurangnya? Maaf kaum lelaki, inilah kebenaran.

Tapi cuba kita renungkan bersama.. Kalau kita mampu elakkan diri dari mengumpat, tapi mendengar umpatan orang pula lebih kurang sama dosa dengan mengumpat...

Makna mengumpat tu seperti umumnya yang kita tahu.. bila kita mengata tentang sesuatu yang buruk .. dibelakang hamba Allah tu.

Dan bila dia tahu dia tentu marah atau kecil hati.. Dah nama pun mengumpat, tentu la berkongsi sesuatu yang tak baik kan?

Kadang-kadang kita tak nak terlibat dalam aktiviti senaman mulut kurang sihat ni, tapi cerita.. orang kata kalau tak mengumpat ni macam masakan tiada rasa..macam garam dan gula pula.. tapi kita sedar tak, perencah ni memang mahal dan terlaris sebab nak mengumpat ni dosa besar.

Dalam Islam,mengumpat ni seperti makan daging saudara seislam sendiri. MasyaAllah, sampai begitu sekali perumpamaan aktiviti senaman mulut ni!

Sebagaimana Sabda Rasulullah S.A.W. bermaksud: “Awaslah daripada mengumpat kerana mengumpat itu lebih berdosa daripada zina. Sesungguhnya orang melakukan zina, apabila dia bertaubat, Allah akan menerima taubatnya. Dan sesungguhnya orang yang melakukan umpat tidak akan diampunkan dosanya sebelum diampun oleh orang yang diumpat” (Hadis riwayat Ibnu Abib Dunya dan Ibnu Hibbad).

Allah di dalam Quran yang bermaksud: Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jauhilah kebanyakan buruksangka (kecurigaan), karena sebagian dari buruksangka itu dosa. Dan janganlah mencari-cari keburukan orang dan janganlah menggunjingkan satu sama lain. Adakah seorang diantara kamu yang suka memakan daging saudaranya yang sudah mati? Maka tentulah kamu merasa jijik kepadanya. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Penerima Taubat lagi Maha Penyayang.(QS 49:12)

Firman Allah dalam Al-Quran: Allah tidak menyukai ucapan buruk, (yang diucapkan) dengan terus terang kecuali oleh orang yang dianiaya. Allah adalah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui (QS 4:148)

Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jika datang kepadamu orang fasik membawa suatu berita, maka periksalah dengan teliti agar kamu tidak menimpakan suatu musibah kepada suatu kaum tanpa mengetahui keadaannya yang menyebabkan kamu menyesal atas perbuatanmu itu. (QS 49:6)

Justeru itu, jauhilah mengumpat dan berhati-hati dalam setiap perkara yang diperkatakan. Teliti dahulu apakah akibat, kesan sebelum dan selepas kita mendedahkan keburukan orang lain. Atas tiket Islam membenarkan mengumpat, akan jadi lah umat yang suka mengumpat jika tidak dikawal. Wujudlah suasana yang tidak harmoni dan kurang kasih sayang antara satu sama lain. Dengan tujuan-tujuan atau kepentingan yang tertentu, umpatan dibenarkan berleluasa. Maka, hentikanlah perbuatan mengumpat, memaki hamun, mencela dan sebagainya yang dilarang oleh Islam. Mengumpat itu boleh, tetapi teliti dahulu adakah umpatan itu tergolongan dalam umpatan yang dibenarkan atau diharamkan. Tepuklah dada, tanyalah Iman. Di pihak manakah kita dalam memperkatakan keburukan orang lain. Adakah harus, wajib, makruh atau haram? Jika tersilap, nerakalah tempatnya. Nauzubillah Himinzalik

Maka, janganlah mengumpat dan memperkatakan keburukan orang lain yang tidak izinkan syarak. Sabda Rasulullah S.A.W. “wahai orang beriman dengan lidahnya tetapi belum beriman dengan hatinya! Janganlah kamu mengumpat kaum muslim, dan jangan lah kamu mengintip-intip keaibannya. Sesungguhnya, sesiapa yang mengintip keaiban saudaranya, maka Allah akan mengintip keaibannya, dan dia akan mendedahkannya, meskipun dia berada dalam rumahnya sendiri” (Hadis riwayat Abu Daud)

Walaubagaimanapun pun, kita adalah hambaNya yang lemah. Itulah pentingnya kita saling ingat mengingatkan, bukan nak buruk-memburukkan. Kalau keburukan diri dapat diterima dan cuba dikikis sebaiknya, siapakah kita untuk menilai keburukan orang lain?

Fokus kembali pada tips-tips nak elakkan mengumpat/sesi mengata ni..

Ø Bila berkumpul dengan kawan-kawan.. dan bila rakan dah mula filem umpat dengan watak yang bertambah-tambah dan siap letakkan jiwa dan emosi lagi. Masa tu, kalau dah bersama, mesti susah nak elak dari bubuh skrip tambahan.

Dinasihatkan masa ni la kita banyak-banyak Ingat Allah. Sedar yang kita ni pun sama taraf dengan orang yang diumpat tu iaitu Hamba Allah. Masing-masing ada kekurangan. Cepat-cepat istighfar, sambil tu tegurlah kawan sama.. Kalau tak dapat juga, sebaiknya kita pergi dari situasi ni.

Ø Bila yang nak jadi moderator 'umpat-umpat' tu kawan baik kita sendiri.. Apa kata kita ajak dia berbual tentang keburukan diri masing-masing? Bila kita bercerita tentang baik buruk diri kita ni.. sekurang-kurangnya kita pun sedar banyak juga kekurangan kita. Tak payah lah cerita semuanya, tapi cuba fikir.. rasanya kalau nak senaraikan pun mesti lebih tiga, lebih dari sepuluh? dua puluh?.. jadi layakkah kita nak bagi senarai keburukan orang, sedangkan senarai keburukan kita sendiri pun dah lebih dari sebakul.

Ø Bila yang nak ajak mengumpat tu orang senior dari kita.. tentu payah benar nak buat sesi teguran kan? Apa kata kalau tak dapat nak elak pun. Sambil dia lafaz bait-bait mengata tu, kita pula sambung setiap ayat umpatan tu dengan doa. Doakan sesiapa yang diumpat dengan ikhlas, supaya Seni0r kita tu pun sedar dengan sendirinya. InsyaAllah!

Ø Bila terasa sakit hati dengan seseorang hamba Allah tu.. dan terasa nak cari kawan nak buka forum mengumpat, jom ambil wudhu secara tertib. Masa nak kumur-kumur tu, bacalah doa. Minta dipelihara lidah ni dari perbuatan yang memberi dosa.. InsyaAllah. Semoga dengan itu, segala niat buruk tu terbatal sendiri.

Ø Kalau kita selalu terlupa tentangNya, apa lagi bila tengah cerita panas atau gosip liar. Masa ni nak istighfar pun berat sekali nak buat. Apa lagi nak muhasabah diri yang dah rebah kan? Jadi.. sumbatkan lah telinga anda dengan lagu-lagu atau sebaiknya.. dengar bacaan alQuran ke.. nasyid ke. Ini lebih baik dari bibir tu mengata hal-hal tepi kain orang. Sedangkan tepi kain sendiri entah masih elok atau tak.. dah koyak ke.. atau tersangkut kat mana-mana.. Sebab tu kita ada dua telinga.. sebagai perumpamaan kita kena mendengar dua kali dulu sebelum bercakap sesuatu..

Ø Bila nak mengata orang tu.. cuba bayangkan kita berada di tempat orang yang dikutuk tu.. agak-agaknya boleh tak jadi seperti Khalifah atau nabi terdahulu..Bila diumpat, boleh pula beri hadiah.. siap doakan orang tu dirahmati Allah SWT. Agaknya kita antara golongan yang bila tahu ada orang cakap belakang tentu rasa nak bagi penumbuk sulung pada orang berkenaan, paling tidak pun.. mengutuk dan buat la ayat makian paling pedas untuk dia. Cuba kita ubah sedikit perspektif pemikiran kita.. bila kita diumpat, tu bermakna ada orang ambil berat,ada orang cuba nak beri ingat.. ada yang nak bagi pendapat. Supaya dengan Tuhan kita terasa dekat. Ujian tu taklah seberat kutukan yang nabi pernah terima dahulu kan...

Ø Terakhir, minum air banyak-banyak..dimulakan dengan selawat dan bacaan basmillah. Semoga dengan nikmat air tu, kita akan ringan untuk memujinya. Banyak lagi tips yang ada.. tapi semuanya bergantung pada niat. Niat untuk pelihara diri dan jaga ukhwah sesama saudara.

Semoga kita tergolong dalam golongan orang yang bersyukur.. setiap yang bersyukur akan sentiasa ingat yang memberi.

Tiada unsur nak sindir sesiapa cuma sekadar memberi peringatan buat diri sendiri dan pembaca yang sudi baca..

The power of Money: By Adam Khoo (Singapore's youngest millionaire at 26 yrs)

Some of you may already know that I travel around the region pretty frequently, having to visit and conduct seminars at my offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Suzhou (China). I am in the airport almost every other week so I get to bump into many people who have attended my seminars or have read my books.

Recently, someone came up to me on a plane to KL and looked rather shocked. He asked, 'How come a millionaire like you is traveling economy?' My reply was, 'That's why I am a millionaire. ' He still looked pretty confused.

This again confirms that greatest lie ever told about wealth (which I wrote about in my latest book 'Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires' ). Many people have been brainwashed to think that millionaires have to wear Gucci, Hugo Boss, Rolex, and sit on first class in air travel. This is why so many people never become rich because the moment they earn more money, they think that it is only natural that they spend more, putting them back to square one.

The truth is that most SELF-MADE millionaires are frugal and only spend on what is necessary and of value. That is why they are able to accumulate and multiply their wealth so much faster.

Over the last 7 years, I have saved about 80% of my income while today I save only about 60% (because I have my wife, mother-in-law, 2 maids, 2 kids, etc. to support). Still, it is way above most people who save 10% of their income (if they are lucky).

I refuse to buy a first class ticket or to buy a $300 shirt because I think that it is a complete waste of money. However, I happily pay $1,300 to send my 2-year old daughter to Julia Gabriel Speech and Drama without thinking twice.
When I joined the YEO (Young Entrepreneur' s Orgn) a few years back (YEO) is an exclusive club open to those who are under 40 and make over $1m a year in their own business)
I discovered that those who were self-made thought like me. Many of them with net worth well over $5m, travelled economy class and some even drove Toyota's and Nissans, not Audis, Mercs or BMWs.

I noticed that it was only those who never had to work hard to build their own wealth (there were also a few ministers' and tycoons' sons in the club) who spent like there was no tomorrow.

Somehow, when you did not have to build everything from scratch, you do not really VALUE money.
This is precisely the reason why a family's wealth (no matter how much) rarely lasts past the third generation.

Thank God my rich dad foresaw this terrible possibility and refused to give me a cent to start my business.

Then some people ask me, 'What is the point in making so much money if you don't enjoy it?'
The thing is that I don't really find happiness in buying branded clothes, jewellery or sitting first class. Even if buying something makes me happy it is only for a while, it does not last.

Material happiness never lasts, it just gives you a quick fix. After a while you feel lousy again and have to buy the next thing which you think will make you happy. I always think that if you need material things to make you happy, then you live a pretty sad and unfulfilled life..

Instead, what makes me happy is when I see my children laughing and playing and learning so fast.
What makes me happy is when I see my companies and trainers reaching more and more people every year in so many more countries.
What makes me really happy is when I read all the emails about how my books and seminars have touched and inspired someone's life.

What makes me really happy is reading all your wonderful posts about how this blog is inspiring you. This happiness makes me feel really good for a long time, much much more than what a Rolex would do for me.

I think the point I want to put across is that happiness must come from DOING your life's work (be it teaching, building homes, designing, trading, winning tournaments etc.) and the money that comes is only a by-product.

If you hate what you are doing and rely on the money you earn to make you happy by buying stuff, then I think that you are living a life of meaninglessness.
